Hi Thomas, they aren't criollo. We have very few criollo. They are trinitario. We also get there variations in color within the same pod. I will post a photo of one now that I chewed open while in a farm (disclaimer for lack of clean slicing )
Are the longer, skinner pods with the deeper channels or canals criollo? Are you operations in the Philippines? I would like to see what the beans look like when cut.I put some photos up of some Dominican beans this summer. Most are dark purple and others lean toward a lighter purple. A few white beans exist and even within a pod of white beans, not all the beans will be white.
